SYNAPSE FX is company who deals with special effects and prosthetics.

Special Effects are more then just Makeup Effects...
It is the combination of different FX elments working together to create a specific effect.
It can be anything from a blood "gag" to a prop that "bleeds," a full creature suit to custom teeth.

These elements are used to create the illusion of an actual effect such as stabbing, cutting a throat, losing a limb or dead bodies. Effects like these are more common than you think, for example on CSI when you see a rib being broken, a bullet ripping through flesh, or a stab wound to the chest.

The last pantomine i went to see was Snow white at the pavillion i really enjoyed it their makeup was really good as it would have been professionally done their hair was really basic as it wasnt a big production and their costumes were really great

1. my expectations of this course were met as i thought they would be as we were told on the induction day what would happen in the course.
2. my thoughts on jwc are that it is a clean, nice and friendly enviroment and my thoughts on the media makeup course is that standards that i expected from the class ahve been met.
3. my funniest moment in college is when lorna almost fell off her seat
4. the most interesting thing that i have learned so far is too do face painting techniques
5. my make up idol is marily monroe
6. i want to be a makeup artist because i like the look that makeup artists can create on people.
